MESSKO^® Trasy-Series type MT-STW160F2

The TRASY2 thermometer range has been designed specially for measuring temperatures in distribution and power transformers. TRASY2 is a development of the first modular system which has achieved an excellent track record over the years. 

The MT-STW160F2 is a stand-alone, energy independent pointer thermometer which uses microswitches for various switching functions. The measured value is captured by a liquid filled temperature sensor and is then transmitted via a spiral spring which is linked with zero backlash to a pointer spindle. The thermometer has microswitches with fully adjustable settings. 

Possible applications:

• Pointer thermometer to display winding temperature
• Pointer thermometer to display winding temperature and remote transmission of measured value (winding temperature).
  In this case the additional temperature transmitter ZT-F2 (siehe below) and signal conditioner or moving coil indicator are necessary.

You can combine the following devices with the TRASY2 series:

• Signal Converter TT30 to convert the sensor signals in analogue (for instance 4....20mA) or digital (RS485) process signals
• Measured Value Transducer Pt-MU to convert the signals of a Pt100 to a uniform signal proportional to the temperature
• Electronic Indicator El100/160 for temperature indication in the switchboard / switching cubicle
• Digital Indicator D1270 /1272 resp.
• Moving-Coil Indicator PQ96 /PQ144 for remote indication
• Multi Ballast Transformer to adapt the current
• transformer output to the input of the pointer thermometer
